Ever wanted to learn about art and the influence it has in design? Come join ISCD Melbourne for an exciting 'Art for Interiors' workshop this July!

Our online and on campus educator Emily Macalpine has an extensive history in art for interior spaces, magazine photography as well as experience with architects on design development, special planning and site design consultation. We are very excited to announce this new workshop we have created where Emily can share her experience, knowledge and love for art. It is a great workshop for anyone looking to gain a general understanding about art. From a brief history to where to find it and in how to use it from an interior design POV. The day will cover the following;

- Art History
- Art Events
- Art Publications
- Framing + Hanging
- Elements and Principles of design in artwork
- Meanings behind artworks and contextualising them
- Prints vs genuine pieces
- Collecting art

Please note: To enter the building use the Little Collins Street entrance.
