Join the first Big Dance in Castlemaine this 29 April (International Dance Day)!
Learn the Big Dance at one of our free Big Dance workshops all across Victoria in March and April, or learn it online from our free Big Dance tutorials with your family and friends. Once you've done that, join thousands of people around Australia as we perform the Big Dance together at Victory Park, Castlemaine. Registration is ideal (only if you are doing the Big Dance).
No prior dance experience is necessary to participate.
This is an inclusive event. If you require mobility assistance or an interpreter, please let us know.
Make this a day out with family and friends as we celebrate Dance together. Bring your picnic baskets and rugs, relaxed and enjoy dance performances by local groups.
Full schedule of the day will be released in March/April.
Please note: This is a family-friendly event.
This event is a part of Regional Centre for Culture's 2018 program.
If you have registered to participate in a Big Dance event when you signed up for the workshop, you do not need to register again. If you selected 'I don't know' in the workshop form or have not attended a workshop, please let us know if you are joining us on the day by registering on this page.
