A Comedy Night of Nights ... ‘Belly Laughs for Fuller Bellies’ to help raise funds for the Southern Peninsula Community Support and Information Centre (SPCSIC), which supports our communities most disadvantaged including families and individuals who are homeless or at risk.
The event invites all members of the local community to enjoy a fun-filled evening with an array of comedians, impersonator Ivanna as MC, prizes, silent auctions and our headlining funny man Tommy Little. With help from supporters, we're hoping to raise $10,000 through this event that will go to the SPCSIC Fresh Food Program that provides fresh food for those that go hungry.
Most of us have family support or positive role models. For those that this disconnect occurs in their life, regardless of reasoning, who aren't so lucky it is up to the community to help them find the courage to strive for a better future. As a vehicle for change - SPCSIC have the passion, skills and experience to bring together professional staff, volunteers, business and partnerships with fellow community organisations to provide a range of interventions into the lives of the community’s vulnerable. SPCSIC provides a hand up and out of disadvantage.
The Southern Peninsula Community Support and Information Centre (SPCSIC) is committed to meeting the needs of our community and seeks to contribute to people’s awareness of their rights and responsibilities, with a particular emphasis on encouragement and the independence of those who are marginalised. SPCSIC provides support to marginalised individuals and families who are experiencing disadvantage within the community. Providing assistance through the provision of comprehensive support, information and advocacy services as well as material aid. SPCSIC works closely with other social and community welfare organisations to provide the best service to our clients.

SPCSIC is a leading local not-for-profit charitable organisation delivering programs to improve the social and economic capabilities of some of the Southern Peninsula’s most high-risk people. The Southern Peninsula Fresh Food Program provides fresh food on the Southern Mornington Peninsula. The program delivers two services: Fresh Food delivery to agencies & Fresh Food delivery to the community. The program runs out of the Rosebud Memorial Hall weekly on Monday (closed public holidays). Community Members having difficulty accessing fresh fruit and vegetables can attend the program at the hall at 10:30 am. The program runs in a respectful and courteous manner with reference to all those attending.
