Chasers Nightclub, located on one of the world's most fashionable shopping strips in Melbourne, Australia, is the country's longest running and possibly most notorious club. In the 80's and 90's, the venue was known to many Melbourne music fans as one of the many venues in which they could catch some of their favourite live bands. Acts such as Sonic Youth, Weddings Parties Anything, Hunters & Collectors, Regurgitator, and TISM were just some of the acts that graced the stage back in the day.
There is not a person in Melbourne who would not have heard a story of a wild night out or certain couple (possibly even your parents) meeting at Chasers.
Likened to and recognised as the Australian equivalent of Studio 54, Chasers has played host to legendary discos, live shows, after parties and launches. The venue has also featured in countless video clips, television series and magazines.
