Flavour Festival

No stranger to bringing the very best to Melbourne’s West, Woodlea and its fast-establishing community is celebrating all things community, culture and cuisine at Flavour Festival.

Taking place on Friday, 5 and Saturday, 6 October, Flavour Festival will see a bevy of Melbourne’s most popular food trucks roll into the Woodlea masterplanned community in Rockbank and set up shop to serve their best dishes to festival goers.

From Fancy Hanks’ American BBQ and Bossman Food’s taste of the Caribbean, to Yum’s Spanish paella, options will be plentiful, giving festival-goers the chance to sample a delicious range of fiery, sweet and smoky sensations.

For those with a sweet tooth, ‘Sweet Alley’ will feature a literal lolly wonderland with an Instagram-worthy display of colourful ice-cream by Glacé, crème brulee courtesy of The Brulee Cart, St Gerry’s donuts and glow-in-the-dark fairy floss.

With the copious amounts of food on offer, guests are sure to work up a thirst and that’s where the ‘West is Best Brew Zone’ comes in. Visitors can enjoy local wines, Aperol spritz and craft beers from Two Birds Brewing while they sit back, relax and enjoy some live music.

Festival attendees will also be joined by this year's Masterchef winner Sashi Cheliah and contestant Jess Limantara who will be hosting live cooking demonstrations, sharing their foodie tips and tricks, and letting us in on the secrets to creating their favourite dishes.

This fun-filled event for the whole family will also include a selection of activities for the little ones including a giant ferris wheel, giant slide, arts and crafts activities by See Make Play, sensory food experiences, face painting and more!
