***NOMINEE BEST COMEDY MELBOURNE FRINGE 2017***
I'M HERE is a medley of sketch and song, exploring the crushing anxieties and self-induced pressures of being social. From the lengths you’ll go to not be too early to a party, to questioning whether all your friends are having a better time without you, to not being sure how to greet your UberEats driver, this show skewers the social norms of today with humour and heart.
HIT BY A BLIMP (Tiana Hogben, Caitlyn Staples and Jayden Masciulli) are a bright, young, Melbourne-based comedy collective with backgrounds in improvisational comedy, acting, writing and theatre. They love feel-good comedy with heart (often explored through exaggerated humour, alternate realities and spontaneous musical numbers) but above all else, they love friendship. Hit By A Blimp is predominately female and features artists of diverse ethnicity and sexuality. This is their second sketch show and their debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, after the runaway success of the nostalgia-fuelled WHO WE WERE as part of Melbourne Fringe 2016.
