Join us to ‘ride the excitement’ in 2023.
Every June, Queen’s birthday long weekend, the finest horse riders in the country arrive at the picturesque Werribee Park precinct, to compete at Victoria’s premier eventing competition, the Melbourne International 3 Day Event (MI3DE). CCI4* is for the advanced level of competitors in three-day eventing, which is the triathlon of horse sport.
One horse and rider team compete in three disciplines over three days in the ultimate equine test, that is, dressage, cross country and show jumping.
The Melbourne International 3 Day Event is one of the largest equestrian events held in Australia, with top riders from all over Australia competing. Complimented by a large, undercover, winter Trade Village and evening entertainment there is something for everyone, young and old.
Running from Thursday 8 June through to Monday 12 June, the event will progress through, dressage, cross-country and finish with the show jumping phase.
Cross-country day is always a favourite for spectators on Sunday 11 June, with the course winding its way past the Werribee Park Open Range Zoo, the beautiful Mansion Hotel and Spa, through the stunning State Rose Garden and across the Werribee Park Polo fields and the National Equestrian Centre.
