The virtuoso classical guitarist MILOŠ is making his triumphant return to Australian concert halls. MILOŠ will be playing three solo recital concerts in Australia’s most reputable concert halls which promises to entertain music lovers from all walks of life.
The accomplished, world-famous classical guitarist, dubbed by many as “Classical Music’s Guitar Hero”, has spent his extended time away from Australia captivating audiences across the classical music world. MILOŠ’ virtuosic playing and unique interpretations of multiple musical languages provides audiences with a breath-taking experience leaving audiences longing for more.
Performing on his Australian built 2017 Greg Smallman guitar, MILOŠ is set to perform a broad repertoire from a variety of genres and arrangements. Starting in Perth on April 13th, 2023, at the Perth Concert Hall, MILOŠ will then be travelling to the Melbourne Recital Centre on the 15th of April. He will be concluding his tour in Sydney at the City Recital Hall on the 16th of April.
SInce his last tour of Australia, MILOŠ’ success has been coupled by his perseverance and ambition. His blossoming career has been recognised through multiple awards and accolades including the Classical Brit award and two gramophones. There’s no denying MILOŠ is one of the world’s best classical guitarists right now.
With more than a decade of performances in the world’s finest venues, MILOŠ’ solo recital at Royal Albert Hall was a world first for a classical guitarist. MILOŠ has proven that he stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the best classical guitarists.
MILOŠ is now exclusively signed to SONY Classical. With repertoire spanning across multiple musical languages and styles, MILOŠ has committed himself to expanding the repertoire for the classical guitar through commissioning of new works. These new works have been composed by some of the world's most successful composers including Howard Shore and Joby Talbot. MILOŠ’ new solo album is due to be released in 2023 and will explore the theme of baroque and its guitar repertoire treasures.
A passionate advocate for music education, MILOŠ is an active patron of numerous charities supporting young musicians across the world.
