Start the day off with a walk along the spectacular Geelong Waterfront on Bellarine Peninsula. Take the opportunity to breathe in the fresh sea air and scenic views in this favorite spot among locals.
Next, you'll head to the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre to discover Victoria’s largest collection of Aboriginal art and artifacts. Learn about the world’s oldest living civilization, and then get up close to hand-feed the local emus and wallabies in a native garden.
Continuing along the peninsula, stop to take a stroll around the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse for a fantastic photo opportunity — no filter needed! Then it will be time to board a ferry for a 2-hour ride around the bay. Savor the moment with serene bay views and enjoy a regional produce picnic lunch onboard the ferry.
If it is berry season, the next stop with be Tuckerberry Hill where you can hunt for the biggest, ripest, and reddest strawberries. You will get to pick your own baskets of seasonal fruit on this 90-acre patch of beauty, owned and operated by a local family.
After an exciting day exploring all the wonderful things Bellarine Peninsula has to offer, relax for the return drive back to Melbourne.
