Head down to Brighton Beach in Melbourne for a guided treasure hunt. Use your metal detecting equipment to scan the sands and make two additional stops in St Kilda Beach and Fawkner Park.

Description

Even more fun, adventure, excitement and learning is what the Melbourne Treasure Hunt is all about. A longer and more comprehensive tour than Melbourne Treasure Hunt 101, this tour includes a workshop on equipment use and silver coin cleaning, as well as an additional location to explore. A more advanced treasure hunting tour that will take you to some of Melbourne's most iconic locations - except with a big difference. You will explore these locations with metal detecting equipment in order to look for treasure! The only tour of this kind in Melbourne!! A truly unique way of getting to know Melbourne and its history guided by an internationally experienced metal detectorist and treasure hunter. You will be picked up by your driver and guide and taken to Brighton Beach where you will be taught how to use the various pieces of treasure hunting and fossicking equipment which will be made available for your use. After the lesson you will apply your new skills and detect the beach. The second location is St Kilda Beach where you will hunt for treasure and be provided with a workshop on silver coin cleaning. The third and final location is Fawkner Park where you will search for silver coins and other treasures. At the end of the experience you will be returned back to a mutually agreed upon point.

Includes

Pick up and drop off at a mutually agreed location; Workshop in equipment use, including hints and tips; Workshop in silver coin cleaning; All required metal detecting and fossicking equipment will be provided for your use. This includes a metal detector, pin pointer, and digger; During night hunts you will be provided with a head torch as well; A diverse range of complementary non-alcoholic beverages to make your experience more enjoyable.
