Melbourne Airport operates Terminal 2 (T2 - international), Terminal 3 (T3 - domestic – used by airlines including Virgin Blue and Regional Express) and Terminal 4 (T4 - Tiger Airways). The airport is the gateway to Melbourne and most travel arrangements can be made from the airport.

Avalon Airport is Australia's only dedicated low cost airport, located approximately 40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from Geelong, Victoria’s second largest city.

It is specifically built to cater for the growing number of passengers seeking low cost airfares who don't wish to pay for the costly overheads incurred by major capital city airports. Passengers should expect many of the benefits of major capital city airports along with the lowest cost airport car parking in Melbourne, brand new food and beverage outlets and a simple, hassle free experience.
