Description
Begin with a walk along the Geelong Waterfront on Bellarine Peninsula, enjoying fresh sea air and scenic views. Then visit the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre, home to Victoria’s largest collection of Aboriginal art and artifacts, and meet local emus and wallabies in a native garden.
Next, explore Point Lonsdale Lighthouse before boarding the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento. Enjoy a regional produce picnic lunch onboard while sailing across the bay and taking in serene coastal views. At Portsea Surf Beach, see the London Arch, a unique rock formation.
From November to April, visit Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm to pick your own fresh strawberries. Afterwards, head to Arthurs Seat to admire panoramic views across the bay from Murrays Lookout.
Finish with a visit to the heritage-protected Mornington Peninsula bathing boxes, located along the coast and representative of the area’s beach culture. Return to Melbourne after a full day of sightseeing.
