Departing from your Melbourne accommodation in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, this tour follows the iconic Great Ocean Road. Morning tea is included, served at Torquay Surf Beach where you can enjoy coastal views and spot Bells Surfing Beach in the distance.
Stop for a photo at the Pole House, a unique home perched 40 meters above ground on a concrete column, offering panoramic coastline views. Continue to the Great Ocean Road Sign to capture a selfie before visiting natural habitats where you can see koalas and colorful parrots.
Arrive at the coastal town of Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense), with time to explore the town or swim if weather permits. In the afternoon, take a guided forest walk to experience some of the tallest trees globally.
Visit the Gibson Steps for beach-level views of the coastline and, time permitting, catch glimpses of the 12 Apostles from the shore. Then, approach the 12 Apostles up close and explore Loch Ard Gorge’s impressive rock formations and coastal scenery.
