Description
The tour starts between 8:00 and 8:30 AM, with a meeting point at No.108 Little Bourke Street in Melbourne. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Final meeting time is confirmed via email or text the evening before departure.
The journey lasts approximately 10 to 11 hours, returning to the city center between 7:30 and 8:30 PM, depending on traffic. It is advisable not to schedule activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
Travel by car through Melbourne's West Gate Bridge with views over Port Phillip Bay. Pass the surfing towns of Torquay and Anglesea, then continue through Lorne and Apollo Bay. During lunch, the guide will assist with dining options (meal costs are not included).
Stops include explanations of the Great Ocean Road’s history and the famous Twelve Apostles rock formations. If time permits, you may choose to join an optional helicopter ride (extra cost) for aerial views of the Twelve Apostles.
The tour also features a visit to Loch Ard Gorge on the Shipwreck Coast before returning to Melbourne to conclude the day.
