Description
Follow the bends of the Yarra River on a waterbike, passing Melbourne’s major landmarks with informative commentary from your guide. After a safety briefing, you receive a waterbike and lifejacket before heading upriver to the Botanical Gardens and Government House.
Continue under Swan Street Bridge to Rod Laver Arena and the Melbourne Cricket Ground backdrop. Ride along Birrarung Marr Park, then under Princes Bridge, passing Flinders Street Station and SEA Life Aquarium with the Rialto building visible nearby.
Turn at Webb Bridge to see Yarra’s Edge Marine, the Polly Woodside Tallship, and Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre. Proceed upstream past Crown Casino and the South Bank precinct, including Eureka Tower and Arts Centre Melbourne.
The tour ends back at the rowing sheds on Boathouse Drive, opposite Federation Square, completing the loop along the Yarra River.
