Description
Moonlit Sanctuary is an award-winning wildlife park featuring extensive bushland habitats where visitors can interact with koalas, colorful birds, reptiles, dingoes, and endangered species.
The sanctuary is home to more than 60 native species, including around 80 kangaroos and wallabies that roam freely or live in spacious enclosures. Wetlands attract waterbirds, while parrots such as the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot fly overhead. The park also protects species like red-bellied pademelons, southern bettongs, spot-tailed quolls, and Tasmanian devils.
Located at the top of the Mornington Peninsula, Moonlit Sanctuary is conveniently situated en route to the Phillip Island Penguin reserves, providing a full day of educational presentations and animal encounters.
