Departing from San Remo Jetty on the edge of Phillip Island, just 1.5 hours from Melbourne, your 30-minute ride takes you along the wild coastline of Cape Woolamai. You’ll reach places completely inaccessible by land: the granite quarry, the dramatic sea caves, and Bird Rock. You might also spot seals on the rocks or in the surf (not guaranteed, but a bonus when they appear). Your captain delivers live commentary on the island’s landscape and history throughout, entertaining, genuinely local, and worth every word.
