Japanese food at its best
The Nobu brand is famous all over the world for its superb Japanese cuisine. There are currently 25 award-winning restaurants in 21 cities world-wide, and the Melbourne 'branch' is just as popular as its counterparts, with excellent food and personalised service.
Located at Crown Melbourne, Nobu offers innovative, new-style Japanese cuisine at its best. The restaurant is a visual and culinary delight, with a distinctive décor style and signature dishes that have set it apart. The restaurant's famous 'Bento Box', a combination of delightful tastes served in a traditional wooden Japanese box, makes dining an unforgettable experience, not only for its novelty, but for the taste sensations experienced.
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa opened his first restaurant in New York together with actor Robert de Niro and two other partners. And the Nobu restaurant brand has gone from strength to strength, a tribute to Chef Nobu's personal creations, a delightful spin on traditional Japanese cooking. The Melbourne restaurant is currently run by head chef Christopher Shane Chan Yai Ching and a talented team who offer Japanese delights that have guests returning time and again.
Meals are accompanied by a wide range of wines, sake and cocktails and the experience is further enhanced by the stunning river views.
