If evidence was needed of Melbourne's blossoming café scene you need look no further than The Parlour.
Tucked away in the back streets of Beaumaris this light and airy café is welcoming with some of the friendliest staff I have ever met.
The breakfast menu is varied and the Coffee is amongst the best I have tasted in a long while, the large versions we ordered were literally served in bowls.
The food is of a high standard and it is my belief that if you serve up old classics they have to be good and the BLT I had did not disappoint. My wife had the granola which is served with yoghurt and berries and is a more than generous serving.
Bayside is a booming area for great cafes and The Parlor is one of the best.
