Westfield Fountain Gate
Melbourne
Located in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, Fountain Gate is the largest shopping centre in the whole of Victoria. It covers several regions and is a super complex. Originally opened in 1970 with the only tenants being Coles and Kmart, it has expanded rapidly to over 400 shops. This is one hundred more than its Westfield Knox counterpart, so this is a mega-shopping destination.
It has several supermarkets and department stores, as well as individual brands. There is also a Village Cinema site so it is perfect for all the family to spend their time. Outside of the main centre there are other shops including Cash Converters, Harvey Norman and the very first Krispy Kreme in Victoria. So if you are a fan of the America doughnut brand then remember to check out the external shopping plaza.
Narre Warren station is approximately 1km away from the centre and the two are linked by a bus route.
If this isn't enough for you, Melbourne is blessed with so many shopping centres, you really are spoiled for choice.
