Plate. The Valley is considered Melbourne’s most appealing spectator racecourse, offering an
exciting, up-close and personal entertainment experience like no other.

The popular Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights season sets the standard for Night Racing in Melbourne
with live beer garden entertainment, the cities leading food trucks and kids activities at each and
everyone of the 16 meetings between September-March.

All 25 race meeting offers premium racing, entertainment and enjoyment throughout the year and
during the Spring Racing Carnival. The Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival each October is a sporting
experience like no other; with 18 races in less than 24 hours encompassing the best of night and day
racing with thoroughbreds from around the world. The feature race is the $3 million Ladbrokes Cox
Plate which is described by racing purists as the ‘best two minutes in sport’ and draws a crowd of
25,000 racegoers.
