Fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Mr Moon's giant mouth, which is the entrance to Luna Park, is one of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks. And no wonder - this city beach-based amusement park has been thrilling crowds since it first opened in 1912.

Offering a range of unique rides and attractions for the whole family, Luna Park, which is located on the St Kilda foreshore, is a must-see for all Melburnians or anyone visiting the city.

As an historic amusement park, Luna Park in Melbourne sure draws the crowds in. There used to be five such amusement parks around Australia, but this is the only one that still operates.

A Melbourne icon, the Park offers a number of fun heritage attractions, including the 107 years-old Great Scenic Railway, the oldest continuously operating wooden roller-coaster in the world, that offers great views of Port Phillip Bay all the way towards the city. There's also the Penny Arcade and the beautifully restored Luna Park Carousel.
Other draw cards include the Dodgem Cars, the very old Ghost Train and modern thrill rides including Supernova, The Power Surge and the Enterprise, as well as children-friendly rides: Moon Balloons and the Happy Swing.

Luna Park offers private functions and children’s birthdays on the historic Party W-Class Tram, or in the other party venues at the Park.
