National Vietnam Veterans Museum is a treasure house of the Vietnam War and it offers distinct exhibitions to interpret and share the experience of the veterans and their lives.
This nationally recognised museum displays around 6,000 documents, memorabilia, photographs, vehicles, aircrafts and artefacts that represent the difficult times for the Australian Veterans in the Vietnam War. National Vietnam Veterans Museum is built by the Veterans themselves, with hard labour and volunteer donations for fitting and dressing the building.
The whole history of the Vietnam war is presented in audio-visual presentations, photographs, books and research materials. The staff which is mostly veterans or connected to them is always helpful and friendly as it will inform to every detail and bring the story even closer to you.
The museum is child friendly and it is an ideal destination where you can learn more about the veterans and their experiences in the war.
