Via Battisti is a little slice of Italy located in the village shops opposite one of Mount Martha's beautiful stretches of golden beach. Whether you want a quick coffee and cake or something more substantial you are guaranteed to find something to tantalise your tastebuds.
Via Battisti serves an all day breakfast menu so you don't need to worry about an alarm clock if you are enjoying a leisurely holiday. Stroll down for a delicious bite to eat whenever you fancy and you can choose from a wide range of breakfast fare including; healthy local muesli, golden banana bread with creamy mascarpone or scrambled eggs with gruyere cheese on sourdough.
If you come down for lunch or a snack they also offer a range of delicious panini's, ciabattas, homemade salads, soups, gourmet meats, cheeses, macaroons and tarts. If you have little ones with you or fancy revisiting your childhood days they have buttery croissants and homemade brownies or muffins baked daily.
The range of coffee is impressive and there is something to suit every taste from chai lattes and magic mochas to cold drip, pour over and aeropress. There is a great range of herbal teas too if that is what you prefer. In the warmer weather you can cool down with icy delights like iced coffee or chocolate or specialty mumbasa iced-coffees or affogatos.
All of this can be enjoyed while soaking up the atmosphere outside, at the bar under the verandah watching the passionate baristas at work or sitting inside at table with friends or a newspaper.
