Day 1: Melbourne to Great Ocean Road Depart from Melbourne and travel through the surfing town of Torquay for morning tea by the beach. Drive along the beautiful Great Ocean Road, enjoying the stunning scenery of the famous coastline. Stop for some koala spotting and listen to the abundant birdlife before a break for lunch in Apollo Bay. Stop off at the stunning Great Otway National Park, enjoy a guided walk through this ancient rainforest, admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. Travel to the amazing 12 Apostles, before heading to admire Loch Ard Gorge to learn about the history of this famous shipwreck. Pass through the township of Port Campbell and make your way to the Grampians National Park. Stay overnight in the Grampians in the township of Halls Gap. Lunch is included. Day 2: Grampians National Park to Melbourne Wake up to see the amazing views and kangaroos! Grampians National Park, one of Victoria’s most popular holiday destinations, is an area rich in Aboriginal culture set in a beautiful and rugged ancient landscape. Embark on a walk in the National Park and take in some of the breathtaking views at Boroka and Reed’s Lookout. Make your way to Mackenzie Falls and hike to view these stunning scenes. After an amazing 2-day exploration, make your way back to Melbourne early in the evening. Breakfast is included.
