Front row meets farmland during the first weekend of September, at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week’s (MSFW) only regional runway in Ballarat.
Collections by Australia’s leading designers will take to the regional city, as MSFW’s extension unveils the contribution of Victoria’s Western District to the fashion industry.
Held exclusively in the historic Mining Exchange in Lydiard Street, Ballarat Central, runways will feature local designers including Ballarat’s Rebecca Vallance and Warrnambool’s Lisa Gorman (Gorman), as well as an artisan designer Trunk Sale and an exclusive behind-the-scenes cocktail evening.

Tickets are now on sale and starting from $20. Fashion enthusiasts are encouraged to purchase passes to ticketed events early to avoid disappointment. Just over an hour from Melbourne, catch the train on V/Line or book a weekend packages.
Included in the weekend of premium fashion events:
- Friday 2 September - behind-the-scenes exclusive cocktail evening
- Saturday 3 September - artisan designer Trunk Sale showcasing local fashion, wares and premium services, free and open to the public
- Saturday 3 September – Runway 1 (3pm) and Runway 2 (7pm), showcasing Australian RTW designers including the best of the Western District
- Complementing all evening events - food and wine sourced locally from the Western District
